Fee Advice

We believe in transparency around fees so you can plan your child’s health care.

We are a privately billing clinic. We do not offer bulk-billing appointments. Please find our fees outlined here.

We accept card payments only and all fees must be paid in full, on the day of the appointment.

Private health insurance does not cover medical appointments with GPs or paediatricians.

Please note that for Medicare rebates to be applied, your child must attend their appointment. If there is sensitive information which you would like to discuss, please bring a support person for your child so you can discuss this privately with your doctor.

Cancellations and Non-Attendance

Due to the high demand for our appointments, we appreciate your support in providing appropriate notice if your child is unable to make an appointment, or no longer requires an appointment.

Appointments can be cancelled or postponed without charge up to 2 business days (48 hours) in advance.

Cancellations less than 2 business days (48 hours) prior will incur a $100 fee.

Referrals and Booking Policy

Referral from your family GP is preferred but not essential as most children will start their assessment with our specialist GPs. 

Prescription Repeats

If your child has been seen in the previous 6 months at Paediatric People, a repeat prescription may be able to be supplied between appointments. Repeat scripts can be requested here. Pleae note it may take up to 7 days to process requests for repeat scripts.
