Megan is an experienced family doctor who has been caring for children and families in the community for over 20 years. Her goal is to help children meet their own best potential. She believes in taking time to listen to her patients to establish rapport and trust, and to enable her to form a clear and accurate diagnosis. She likes to treat patients holistically, with an evidence-based approach that considers a family’s circumstances.
At the end of your consultation, Megan hopes that you leave the room feeling heard and understood. She believes in our collaborative approach and therefore aims to make sure you understand the thinking processes behind the diagnosis and treatment plans we suggest. She uses kindness and compassion as a tool in her consultation to establish trust and rapport.
She obtained a diploma of Science/Naturopathy before she studied medicine at the University of Western Australia. She obtained her fellowship in General Practice in Victoria and is a member of the RACGP. She has worked in Private General Practice, various community controlled Aboriginal Clinics, and hospital General Practice. She currently also holds an appointment at the Monash refugee health clinic part time, alongside her work here at Paediatric People.
