Sylvie is a Paediatrician, who is passionate about patient-centred and holistic care for infants, children and young people. She is enthusiastic to embark on a journey alongside her patients and believes the best outcome for children will be achieved by working collaboratively with families.
Sylvie is a member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) and holds dual specialist qualification in Australia and in Germany. She graduated with honours from the Charite University Berlin and then completed her Paediatric training at the Charite University Hospital in Berlin, Sandringham Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. She undertook additional fellowships in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics at the Centre for Community Child health at the Royal Children’s hospital.
Sylvie enjoys the range of General Paediatrics and is passionate to support all child health concerns including allergies, asthma, eczema, infant feeding and sleeping, toileting issues and constipation and neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay. She published several research articles on neurodevelopmental conditions in children.
She enjoys working with families from diverse backgrounds and is also fluent in German and Vietnamese. As a mother of a young child, she appreciates the roller-coaster of parenthood and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends and a good coffee.
