We will then email you a secure Patient Registration Form where you can tell us about your child and your concerns.
The Paediatric People team will carefully review your child’s information.

Our clinical team will meet and promptly allocate your child an appointment with the specialist they need.
Your first appointment will be based on your child’s needs and urgency.

Fill out our Enquiry Form.
We will email you a secure Patient Registration Form where you can tell us about your child and upload any relevant files
(e.g. referrals).We will carefully review this and suggest an appointment with one of our team, based on your child’s individual medical needs.

Not necessarily - and not to get started.
Once you have completed our intake process (start here) we will let you know if you need a referral from your family GP.
You will not need a referral if your child’s first appointment is with one of our specialist GPs, nurses or physiotherapists. Our GPs specialise in care for infants, children and teenagers. You don’t need a referral to see them.
If your child’s first appointment at Paediatric People is with a paediatrician, then we do require a referral from your family GP so you can receive a Medicare rebate – we will let you know if this is the case.
We try to make the process as easy as possible for families.If you have any questions, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

We do our best to respond quickly. If you have specific concerns regarding your child, please call us after you have submitted the Enquiry Form, otherwise please allow 7 to 10 days for us to process your child.
Our unique care model means children, especially babies, can always be seen promptly by one of our team members.

Your child’s first appointment may be with a GP, a nurse, a physio or a paediatrician.

The team meets often to discuss your child and subsequent appointments are made to continue offering timely and expert care.
